Learn To Speak Chinese Starting Right
Here
I was actually surprised to see how many people are looking
to learn Chinese online each month. Would YOU be surprised to
know that the number is well over 45,000? It’s true. Chinese is
a very popular language. Well, you can begin learning it, right
here, right now. I’m going to go over a few simple Chinese
conversational sayings.
Let’s start with something simple. Let’s say you wanted to
ask somebody how they were feeling in Chinese. You might say
something like, “你怎麼感覺?” which means “How do you feel?” in
traditional Chinese. In simplified Chinese you would say
“你怎么感觉?” If the person wanted to answer back, “I feel fine”
they would say “我覺得罰款 “
Okay, let’s get to something a little more complicated.
Let’s say you went to the store to buy some food and you wanted
to know how much a loaf of bread costs. You would say something
like, “多少這是麵包?” which means “How much is this bread?” If the
price of the bread was in yuan, which is equal to 0.146113 U.S.
dollars, and the bread in US dollars was $1.46, then the store
owner would say to you, “麵包的成本10元” which means “The bread costs
10 yuan.” Yes, you’re going to have to learn currency
conversion too.
What if you wanted to know where the nearest police station
was in case you were robbed? You’d probably ask something like,
“Where is the nearest police station?” In traditional Chinese,
this would be “在最近的警察局?” If you were speaking in simplified
Chinese, the question would be asked, “在最近的警察局?” As you can
see, in this case, they are exactly the same. Just seeing if
you’re paying attention. In some cases, traditional and
simplified are the same.
You’re probably wondering how I know all this stuff. Well,
like I said, there are plenty of places online to learn
Chinese. Click here to read
